Phase VI Update

The district has been receiving calls and emails regarding customers who have signed up for sewer connections that are part of Phase VI project. The district was denied USDA RD funds and currently have an application on file for funding with SRF (State Revolving Funds).

We anticipate good news with the SRF application. As soon as we receive any information, it will be posted here.

2024 Rate Increase

Effective February 1, 2024, there will be a 3% sewer rate increase for most of your services:

The Residential dwelling unit(s) and Non-for-Profit:  Old Rate $70.00      New Rate $72.10  

Condos per unit:  Old Rate $64.45       New Rate $66.38

Base Rates for all CommercialOld Base Rate $76.07     New Base Rate $78.35 Marinas, Campground/RV Parks, Motel/Hotel/Resort, Boarding/Rooming House, Manufacturing, Nursing Homes, Schools, Laundromats, Tatoo Parlor, Car Wash, Gas Stations, Convenience Store, Retail, Office, and Event Venues

Food/Beverage Services:  Old Rate $76.07  New Rate $176.07 for 50 seats or more Seat/Employee $2.40

Food/Beverage Services: Old Rate $76.07 New Rate $100.00 for 50 seats or less Seat/Employee $2.40

Resort Pool$200.00This is a seasonal rate from May 1st to September 30th.

Campground/RV Parks per space fees will increase from $6.00 per space to $10.00 per space.

Residential electrical credits remain the same at (.75) per dwelling.

Notice of Hearing

Public notice is hereby given in conformity with section 250.233, RSMo., that Hearings before the Board of Trustees of Gravois Arm Sewer District of Morgan County, Missouri, will be held at the district office at 28982 Harbour Rd, Gravois Mills, MO 65037 on January 4, 2024 at 9 o’clock a.m. and on January 11. 2024 at 2 o’clock p.m. to consider an adjustment of charges for sewer services and tap-on charges.  The Board is reviewing its obligation as to charges imposed by financing entities and the need to adjust charges to meet inflation and overhead.

The meetings will be open to the public.  Any interested person is invited to attend and to be heard.

Phase VI Update

Gravois Arm Sewer District has received an updated from USDA RD regarding funding for the Phase VI project.

Unfortunately, the district does not qualify for USDA RD funding and there is no DNR financial assistance is available for us.

We are in the process of applying for SRF (State Revolving Funds).

Please continue to be patient and understanding through this process, we will get there!

Phase VI Progress Update

The District is still working with USDA on funding approval. Everything has been submitted but has to go through State and National office reviews. This is where we are at. We have received partial feedback on the State Office review and still addressing reports.

2023 Rate Increase

Beginning with your January 2023 sewer bill, you will see the following changes to your monthly rates:

The Residential dwelling unit(s) and Non-for-Profit:  Old Rate $65.00      New Rate $70.00  

Condos per unit:  Old Rate $59.85       New Rate $64.45

Base Rates for all Commercial:  Marinas, Campground/RV Parks, Motel/Hotel/Resort, Boarding/Rooming House, Manufacturing, Food/Beverage Services, Nursing Homes, Schools, Laundromats, Car Wash, Gas Stations, Convenience Store, Retail/Office;    Old Base Rate $70.64      New Base Rate $76.07   

Per Employee:  Old Rate $1.24       New Rate $1.34

Per Seat:           Old Rate $1.24       New Rate $1.34

Per Room:         Old Rate $11.24     New Rate $12.10

Per Boat Slip:    Old Rate $2.49       New Rate $2.68

2022 Rate Increase

The rates for sewer service(s) will be increasing effective June 1, 2022. 

The Residential dwelling unit(s) will go from $63.00 to $65.00 a month per Residential dwelling unit.

All Commercial; Marinas, Condos/HOA, Campground/RV Parks, Motel/Hotel/Resort, Boarding/Rooming House, Manufacturing, Food/Beverage Services, Nursing Homes, Schools, Church/Non-Profit, Laundromats, Car Wash, Gas Stations, Convenience Store, Retail/Office will see a $2.00 base rate increase.

Campground/RV Parks space fees will increase to $4.00/space.

The rate will increase will be effective June 1, 2022.

The District understands that rate increases are unfortunate but rising overhead costs have made the small increase unavoidable.

Phase V Construction Starts

Smico from Odessa, MO will be the contractor to build the 2nd aerator ring on the outside of clorifier 2 ring done during the initial construction of the plant. Magli will be the contractor to connect 147 additional customers to the system. The bulk of the customers will be of of Highway P from Morgan Hills, Moffitt Point and Kenroe Acres. Additional customers will be from the left side of Pelican Point subdivision off Highway O.
