Brulez Trenching LLC is currently working on Contract A, which includes Pelican Point and Saddle Road and will be moving to Idlewild, Grisham and Georgia Rd. Last month they finished up 25 connections on Nob Rock and Graceland Rd. Clean-up activities on Graceland and Grandview Road are coming along, please be patient to allow ditch lines to settle and for necessary testing to be completed. Overall, the project schedule is well ahead of the original projected timeline.

The Board of Trustees of the Gravois Arm Sewer District of Morgan County, Missouri, passed, approved and adopted monthly rate structures for all billings after January 1, 2026 on December 18, 2025. The updated Appendix A Rate Schedule are as follows:

Public notice is hereby given in conformity with section 250.233, RSMo., that hearings before the Board of Trustees of Gravois Arm Sewer District of Morgan County, Missouri, will be held at the district office at 28982 Harbour Rd, Gravois Mills, MO on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 9 o’clock a.m. and on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 5 o’clock p.m. to consider an adjustment of charges for the 2026 sewer services and tap-on charges. The Board is reviewing its obligation as to charges imposed by financing entities and the need to adjust sewer rates to meet inflation and overhead. These meetings will be open to the public. Any interested person is invited to attend and be heard.

Brulez Trenching LLC was awarded as the contractor for the Phase VI sewer connections. Brulez has completed many projects in central Missouri including Sunrise Beach Phase II & III and Rocky Mount Sewer District Phase II & III collection system. Based on the review of Brulez Trenching LLC submitted documentation, we have confidence they have the qualifications and financial capability to manage and complete the construction of the district’s sewer project.

Brulez is anticipating to start Phase VI sewer project in late November or early December 2025. You will receive an email from the project engineer when sewer is coming to your property.

We are experiencing significant performance delays with USPS. We strongly recommend setting up ACH (automatic bank withdrawal) to ensure your monthly payment is made on time, every month. There is no fee for this payment method and it is very secure to use. You can obtain the ACH form off our website; gasdmo.com. Select the Download tab, select the ACH FORM, fill it out and either email it to billing@gasdmo.com, fax it to 573-372-1242 or call the main office at 573-372-0042 to set up ACH. We also accept all major credit cards, however, there is a 3% surcharge that will be added to the payment.

The district has been awarded funding for the Phase VI sewer project. Sealed bids for the construction of the GASD Phase VI sewer system improvements will be received by the district until 10:00 a.m. on June 10, 2025, at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read. The issuing office for the bidding documents is: Alpha Engineering and Surveying, LLC., 3048 Hwy 52, Eldon, MO 65026. Prospective bidders may examine the bidding documents at the issuing office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and may obtain the bidding documents from the issuing office.

Gravois Arm Sewer District scheduled Board meeting on Thursday, March 20, 2025 time has been changed. The meeting has changed from 6 o’clock PM to 4 o’clock PM. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Gravois Arm Sewer District scheduled Board meeting for Thursday, February 20, 2025 has been cancelled.

The Phase VI sewer project funding has been obligated, however, complete award come a month or two after bid opening.   The project cannot be put out for bids at this time.  We are still working on several items currently that are recommended approved prior to bidding the project. We have been working with Rural Development on Environmental concurrence, etc.  CWSRF project manager has sent them a request on parity documentation that is required as well. 

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.  We have been told that septic tanks are deteriorating, please continue to maintain them the best you can until sewer is connected to your property.

It has been a painstaking process for all of us.  As soon as we receive approval to put the project out for bids, the website will be updated.

Effective January 1, 2025, there will be a 2.5% sewer rate increase.
